At this time we have several seniors who see vets regularly including one named Birdie who has dementia, is in kidney failure, and has severe arthritis.  She also requires numerous medications daily which are not cheap but are necessary to help her live out the rest of her life as comfortably as possible. She is most likely a fospice situation and we also have another behavioral one who will most likely be a Crusader for life. We stay small to be able to do that for each one. We have 2 recovering from heartworm treatment and they’re doing great. 2 emaciated dogs. Several with skin issues that are being treated. One possibly pregnant. She gets an ultrasound to find out and if not will be spayed. Several being treated for worms. Several biters who it is very difficult to find the right homes for. We are very choosy and our rescues only get the best lives. Very seldom do ours get adopted quick. All are on Heartgard and get heartworm tests. Any and all donations that our rescue receives goes directly to medical, food and supply costs. We do not ever get paid and often have to pay costs ourselves since we have very little help. But ours get everything they need. If the rescue doesn’t have it, we work harder
